IMPORTANT UPDATE on FCS New Electronic Communications Policy
Parents and Guardians,
Please review the attached one-page guides outlining McNair Middle School’s Personal Electronic Device Policy and Georgia’s Distraction-Free Education Act.
Personal electronic devices, including cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and headphones, may not be used during the school day. Devices must be powered off or silenced and stored out of sight in the student’s locker from 8:55 a.m. to 4:05 p.m.
Violations WILL result in confiscation and progressive disciplinary consequences. Confiscated devices MUST be picked up by a parent or guardian listed in Infinite Campus from Dr. Cameron.
